Returning to a property after updates have been completed offers a useful perspective on how residential communities evolve over time. I was asked to revisit 88 Hillside, a multi-family property I photographed earlier in the year, to document new improvements made to the leasing office and shared amenities for residents. Assignments like this are a key part of my work as a residential real estate photographer in Northern California, where accurate, current imagery plays an important role in leasing and retention.
The updated amenity spaces include a resident lounge with dedicated dining areas, a kitchenette, a fireplace, reading nooks, and a conference room designed for remote work and small meetings. On the ground floor, a fully outfitted fitness center with all new equipment was added, expanding the range of on-site conveniences available to residents. My focus was on showing how these spaces are used and how they support daily life within the community.
Perched above the bay, 88 Hillside benefits from both elevation and setting. The property combines modern comforts with a quieter, more scenic atmosphere, something that informed the way the spaces were photographed. Wide views, natural light, and careful attention to layout help convey how the amenities connect to the overall residential experience.
